The winner of last weeks spell book is: Anna-Lisa at Rag Tag and Bobtail Send me your info and I will mail it to you in Norway! This weeks giveaway is for a spell binder. I bought this is Salem a few years ago. This is a very interesting leather binder.
The leather on the front is crumpled and pressed.
Click for a better look.
There are fairy sparkles mixed in with the leather. Click and you can see them.
The inside holds a tablet which you can fill and then replace and continue to use the binder. I am including a witch's broom pen with it.
There is a pocket on the left to hold your whatnot's.
I took this pic to try to show you the three dimensional effect on the cover. The leather is as smooth as butter and the book is much more beautiful than it photographs. To enter, leave a comment on this post and if you are not already a follower, sign on to follow. The winner will be announced next Saturday and a new giveaway will be posted at that time. Good luck!
I've had a few questions about how I started my witch collection and what my first piece was. I really can't remember the first piece I bought. The collection came upon me gradually. When I bought my house over 20 years ago, I began adding personal touches to it. I started with my front door. It was surrounded by clear glass windows which I did not want to cover with sheers. So I designed leaded glass windows and had them made and installed.
This is a pic from the inside. Click on any of these for a closer look.
This is the lower left panel. It has a spider on the top and a bat with an open wingspan on the bottom.
I repeated it on the lower right but reversed the bat and spider.
The top is a beveled pentagram surrounded by trees. I wanted these windows to be very elemental.
The top left panel is the sun and solar flares.
The middle panels are serpents with flickering tongues.
The top right panel shows an asteroid and a crescent moon.
As I redid each room I continued to add mystical touches and so have ended up with a very unique house that we enjoy living in. This house is such a part of me because of this transformation. As I redesigned the house I searched for unusual objects to place in the rooms and thus began the collection.

I love your personal touch on your entrance - we've got a stippled glass panel nd intend one day to replace it, but I don't know just what will inspire me - most likely kangaroos and rosellas - never thought of designing my own either!
Thank you for showing us a bit more of your home and thank you also for this chance to win your spell book.
