Teddy was so happy that everyone liked last weeks Celtic journal that she thought she would give another one away. This is a BOS (book of spells or book of shadows) which was handmade in Salem, Massachusetts by a local witch. I bought it there last fall in a very cool witch store!
It has a hand carved Celtic knot on the front of the wooden cover and brass hinges.
You can add pages to this BOS and the directions are on the first page so the book can grow with you! To enter, leave a comment on this post and if you are not a follower, sign on to follow. The winner will be announced next Saturday and a new giveaway will be listed at that time.
I am very busy cooking today so I thought I would post a few pics from last year.
I stuffed over 100 jalapenos yesterday which had to be seeded and de-veined before stuffing. It took me hours.
I told my kids that they can judge how much I love them by how many stuffed jalapenos I am willing to make for them. After 200, they go up for adoption!
I hope you all have a safe and festive 4th!!!!

And your give-aways are indeed wonderful. I love the spell books and journals.
I've never had a stuffed jalapeƱo, but they sound like quite a treat!
Do count me in, okay? Crossing fingers and toes...
Kisses from us, hope you had a great 4th of July.
And here I find another glorious give-away, indicative of your generous spirit!
As is spendng your day stuffing peppers! I'm sure that your family knows how much you love them!
I was able to go to an antique market the other day, and was thinking about you, wishing you were there. .there was a vendor who was selling a number of wooden clothes drying racks, all of different configurations. Most I had seen before, but there was one that was round, and stacked, like the Tower of Pisa (it even leaned a little, but I think that was due to the uneven ground!)into three levels, and was huge!
The other was a bit smaller, but was even more unusual. .it had four sides of round rails, and was topped with a wide inverted "V". .it looked like a bungalow. I couldn't help but wonder if one of those wasn't similar to your mystery drying rack.
Wishing you a peaceful day! And try and keep cool!!
As I am from the other end of the world, I do not have too much chences to visit Salem, but this book would bring the spirit of the town to me!:)
Teddy has such great taste in owners, don't you think...
Happy Fourth!

The wooden cover with the carved celtic knot makes it look so authentic. And beautifully simple.
