Spring Sprouts

I was walking around the gardens yesterday being totally overwhelmed by all the work I have to do. I guess it is just one day at a time. This is my Fall Flowering Cherry.

Day 1.

Day 2.

Everything is budding out now.

I love English Walking Sticks and have them planted all over the place here.

The Hellebores are in full bloom.

I also have them in purple.

Persian Ivy

The garden door with the sun behind it.

A better look.

You have to be careful where you step this time of the year because things are popping up everywhere. I have roofers coming soon to do work and I know they will trample everything around the main house.

A bigger shot of the Fall Flowering Cherry.

The phlox is ready to put on a show.

The angel is free from snow.

Viburnum and dogwood.

Time for someone to loose the winter coat!

If only you could wave your magic wand and have all the garden work done!

I so adore cherry trees...aaaah.

I'm making Italian buttercream as I type. Or perhaps I should say JJ is. The meringue is meeting the sugar syrup and I just have to add the butter. Mmmmmm

Teddy s fur looks spectacular. Your spring pictures are wonderful. And making syrop with flavour for my tea is my first priority for tomorrow morning. I think I will use orange and lemon peel and then add it to the tea. I ll tell you if I nail it! Blessings.

It's felt like Spring is taking her time in arriving this year. If it wasn't for the cherry blossoms. Everything else requires a closer look right now
