Click any photos for a closer look. It finally rained here a bit the other day. Teddy, who notoriously does not like rain, sits under her umbrella to avoid getting wet. It can be pouring and thundering and lightning and there she sits, content to stay dry.
I swear my plants grew three inches from the rain. I am loaded with green tomatoes right now.
My eggplants are now about 2 to 3 inches long.
The peppers are almost ready to pick.
And I have lots of cherry tomatoes but they are still green as well.

I see Teddy is not only a beauty she is very smart cookie!
I always make green tomato pickle relish with ours, well actually I make it in the Fall, its a wonderful way (old fashioned way) to use up the glut of tomatoes. We always have a jar, in the fridge, and some in the pantry.
It is amazing how plants can feel the difference between rain and our watering, they always grow so much better if it rains on them.
Nova feels the same about rain as Teddy does :-) She wasn't happy at all when we got caught in that thunderstorm yesterday :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
And Teddy is pretty smart!
Veggies most always look refreshed after rain.
Teddy is as Diva-Fabulous as Halle! Sitting pretty under the umbrella!
