Add some Italian sausage and break it into small bits as it browns.
Add some diced potatoes. Add some diced garlic and S&P to taste.
I always add some Parmesan cheese rinds to soups like this for added flavor. Remove them before serving the soup.
Add enough chicken stock to cover it all by a couple inches. Taste it and add some bullion for added flavor.
Add some diced kale.
Add some pasta which has been boiled for about 5 minutes. It will cook more when it is in the soup.
Add some whole milk and heat thoroughly before serving. Cook until the potatoes are tender.
Taste it for flavor and adjust seasoning.

I don't think I've ever seen Italian sausages here. We have sausages from all the balkan countries, I've seen Spanish and Finnish ones but Italian? We must have but I guess any really good sausage works.
