Look what my friend Laurie ( http://ilovedacloudyday.blogspot.com/) painted for me! She is such a wonderful artist! I shall cherish this forever. |
For now my little pumpkin is sitting on my desk under my pumpkin light until I find the right frame. |
I bought some good bagels when I was at the Westside Market the other day and so I made our favorite bagel spread for them. It's so simple but really good. Just mix and 8 oz. bar of cream cheese with some finely diced shallots and some chopped green olives. |

I have never eaten a bagel, have no idea how they taste :-) I have a bread cook book with a recipe fro them but if I remember they are slightly complicated to do?
Have a great day!
Christer.
About the bagels, I brought back a dozen from St-Viateur in Montreal, but they turned out to be 15.
And we make a very similar cream cheese spread, using shallots, pepper and garlic. I will have to try the olives that sounds wonderful.
