Valentine's Day

 Some Valentine's presents wrapped and ready to send.

This is not for Valentine's Day.  This is just a big banana pudding I made for the kids at the center for later today.
I have been working on my stitching and it is driving me a bit crazy.  I am learning that this is much more difficult than I thought it would be.  The pink box is there just so I could prop it up to take a pic.
One little stitch that is not quite right or one bead out of place just the tiniest bit throws the whole thing off.
 
I improve slightly with each one I make but I am starting to wonder why I am even doing this.

This is the most recent one I made and you can see a bit of improvement but still many mistakes. 

I saw this on pinterest and bought this shoe holder to store my paper towels.

And I just thought I would pass this on....Michael's is having some really big sales right now.  I got these cute boxes for 2.00 each.  They provide great storage in my craft area.

And these chargers are 99 cents each.  I am going to serve the kids Valentine's Day treats on them. That's all I have for today...things are pretty boring here!

You are being way too hard on yourself--I think your needle work is great! And it will just keep getting better. One thing I learned with quilts--you are working with them very close up, where all "imperfections" (I prefer variations) are magnified. Most people will see them at a considerably greater distance. Plus, "Perfection" literally means "made through" or complete, NOT "without flaw." Enjoy the process!

oh the hearts are lovely, they are perfect, you see mistakes where none exist!!!!!I knew they would be perfection, they are lovely, I think the calm methodic stitching is a balm for our soul, well until the thread knots then a bit of cursing usually rights everything, your pudding looks utterly amazing and the children will love it. Your Valentine gifts are beautiful, you certainly have a knack for wrapping everything in a lovely ay, have the best day! Its very cold here, and more snow, at this rate we will be lucky to see bare ground by July!

I never liked Valentine's Day, except for the chocolates. When you are single, it is depressing, when you are in a relationship, it is stressful.

LOL You think YOUR post is boring? Mine is terrible today. I had NOTHING of any great interest. No before and after photo's. Your creativity sure in the heck was a LOT better than mine. Those little hearts look like a lot of tedious work! AND you STILL had time to make that delightful dessert for the kiddies??? Awww..you are just the best!!

Please check to see if your chargers are food safe. It is amazing that there are so many tabletop items that are not safe to use for serving food. Your needlework is beautiful!
