Paint Pens

Another storm is on the way for today...more ice.  I love winter but I've had enough with the constant ice.
Our snow melt system  broke and since they are rare in our neck of the woods, we haven't managed to get anyone to come out and fix it. Teddy lays in the only place where it is still working.

All of our snow is now ice.

It's hard to believe that this pile of snow will be gone in a few weeks and green shoots will appear.

I think Teddy is ready for spring.

These are my new paint pens. I am so excited to use them!  I just have to figure out what to do with them.
I got this Click and Grow herb garden for Xmas. If you are every tempted to buy one..DON"T!!!  They are pretty worthless.  Obviously not much going on around here today.  After all of the recent cooking I am feeling sort of lost with nothing much to do.

I hope you find a creative use for your new paint pens!

Wow thanks for the heads up on the herb garden. I was looking for just such a thing but if it is worthless, I will look elsewhere.

those paint pens sound verrrry interesting!!!!Are they acyrilic or oil?

Too bad the herb garden was a disappointment,

poor Teddy is probably wishing for spring as well, ice is nasty,

I have never used paint pens - are they easy to use? I would worry about getting a consistent paint flow. How does Teddy always look so clean and fluffy? I have a constant battle with Pepper's scraggly ears. As much as I am tired of snow, I'd rather snow than ice. If you're bored, feel free to come up here and cook your little heart out.... :)

Teddy looks nice and comfy out there surrounded by snow. Paint Pens are always fun. It'll be interesting what you are going to do with them. Spring can't come soon enough for me either. We had freezing rain and sleet here all morning. The roads are terrible. Enjoy the down time before the next catering project comes along.

Eek! I'm sorry about your ice situation. Poor Teddy.

I keep trying to send warmer weather out East, but I've not had any success yet. It can't last much longer at this rate though. Those storms are going to have to give soon.

Stay warm! And rest a little - you've been cooking like crazy!

Ice is definitely bad news!I hope you get some better weather very soon! Louisville, where we used to live is due for 8-12 inches of snow tonight. I am enjoying daffodils and cherry blossoms. I love the NW!!!!!

That witch is so cool. And paint pens, the possibilities are what makes things so exciting.

OK I Have to has what a snow melt system is? Is it like heated sidewalks? To melt the snow and ice? I've never heard of that but if that's what it is, that's pretty cool.

Stay warm and dry and safe!! All of you!

Paint pens... hmmmm... I am keeping two of our grands for their spring break, and am building up the craft supplies!
Mele' has never seen snow. I would love to have her experience it. She goes out on the coldest of days and lays on the flagstones all stretched out like Teddy. It is just gorgeous here today..the grass is like a thick green carpet, the tree's are just now beginning to show their new green colors. I can't wait to see your beautiful yard come to life again.
