Winnie's Trip


 Winnie had a lot of fun on our trip.  She likes to stick her whole face in snow piles.

 Every time she came in she shook off all the snow in the kitchen.

She likes to lay in the snow and chew on branches.



 And of course she always expects a treat when she returns from an outing.  We are hoping for one more big storm before Spring so we can go back to the lake.

She's a darling. :) Our dogs, especially the huskies, face plant into the fresh snow, especially if there have been other animal tracks!

That one picture of Winnie right below the last snow picture makes her look like a lion going to sleep. One of the reasons why the Chinese said that Chow Chows where the little lion dogs of the Tang Empire or Tang Quan or Songshi Quan. She is just so cute in the snow.

She is adorable. And, if she went out every 45 minutes, she's smart, too. Especially if there is a treat in the offing every time she comes in!
