I actually went to thrift stores two days in a row. It's that time of year when there isn't much else to do. Of course, I could be cleaning and reorganizing for Spring but there is still plenty of time to do that, right? Thrift shopping is much more fun! I might have enough baskets now.
And believe me, this is not even half of them. Organizing all of these is one of my Spring projects. I didn't pay more than 2.00 for any of these.
I found this cute little German bunny for 99 cents. It looks like it sat on someones shelf for a long time.
Windel is the maker.
On the second day, I found his match. This one was 1.99 but I'm not complaining.
Willie says, oh no... more thrift shopping. Why don't you go treat shopping?
I bought a bag of silverware for 8.00.
Some of these pieces are really cheap and some are Italian silver plate.
But there were a couple decent pieces that I can use and they cleaned up nicely. For 8.00, if I find one piece that is decent and I can use it, it's worthwhile. With as much entertaining as I do, I always need serving pieces.
A good buy. I'll show the rest of what I got tomorrow.
The W's were unimpressed by it all.

Really, I wish I had the luck that you have when it comes to finding these things. I also shop at the thrift store but many of the prices are just ridiculously high. I wanted to buy some baskets and they were $6 to $10. I'm wondering if they were made with gold.
One can never have too much silverware to be honest.
Have a great day!
Christer.
