Yesterday I told my daughter I was nervous. Without blinking an eye she said to me....why, because Fall is almost here and then it will be over? My children know me so well.
I always say Summer looks good on paper, then when it arrives too flippin' hot and humid. I love the flowers and green grass but on the whole give me a crisp Autumn day or even better a snowy winter day.
Yes, there are two times out of the year. Autumn and waiting for autumn. I've been sneaking into David's man cave/tool shed and going through the autumn stuff that is stored in there. I brought out my crystal pumpkins yesterday and David could only say, and so it begins. Indeed it does.
I LOVE SUMMER BEST. October IS THE MONTH I USUALLY GET SICK FOR WEEKS. ooops, did not mean to yell.

Try living in Florida but not at the beach. 102 heat index, rain every afternoon from the tropical storm, steam rising from the streets, and no football!
Good to know there are others out there with Fall on the brain! I went to Michael's the other day and they have started with their fall decor items already. Yeah!!!
