What are you making for Halloween dinner this year? I made this guy for The Blog Tech's kids a couple years ago. It was the centerpiece of their Halloween table. |
The kids were horrified at first.
And then they dug in.
He even had poop! (Olives!)
I always make my ghost cake. I made this one last year for my niece and nephew and the day was so hot that it slowly melted and was almost a pancake by dinner time. They loved it anyway.
We will be having our usual baked brain. (Stuffed brie wrapped in puff paste and painted with tinted egg yolks.)
Monster hand meatloaf is always popular.
Unlike this pic, my spinach dip usually does not make people hurl.
I might make these bloody brain cookies this year.
Sausages anyone?
Maybe we will just have hot dogs.

I especially like the bloody brain cookies :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
Here on Lot 13, Block 13 on Cemetery Hill Road - yes really! -- we usually have a in-house buffet with help from the neighbors - just for the neighbors and helpers! We give out candy at the end of the front walk just to keep the groups of kids and parents moving along! Much more efficient! We decorate the outside front yards and our block usually has over 400 trick-or-treaters and then we drink, eat and drag everything (including us! LOL!) back into the house!
Cheers! Jan (the Old Crone) at Rosemary Cottage (but right now the sign says Hemlock Cottage!)
Warmest Boos!
