Postponed

This is My Daughter's wedding invitation.  Click for a closer look.  I just love them, especially because the plan was to get married in our woods. Well, the virus numbers are rising by the day and it looks as though we might be worse by October.  My daughter and her fiance' talked it over and they really don't want to have a wedding where people have to wear masks and do social distancing.  So, the celebration is postponed.  The good news is they are still getting married.  The Blog Tech got his license to marry people and they went to city hall and got their marriage license and he is going to marry them on Friday. He is doing this at his house, outside, wearing masks.  We can't even go.  But, it's okay.  Everyone is healthy and safe and My Daughter and The Chef are very excited.  We hope that things will be different by the Fall of 2021 and the celebrations will happen then. I am a lucky mother, both of my kids will be married to their soul mates.  There's nothing better.  Too bad we didn't make this decision before I power washed all of those boulders and stones!

I'm happy for them and it will hopefully be a helluva party next year! I'm sorry all your garden work proved to be premature though.

Wishing them both the best. I like the idea of an after party, when everyone can get crazy , maybe celebrate their First Anniversary with a crowd. I did not attend the wedding of one daughters, they wanted no fuss and got married by a Justice of the Peace alone. I just ballooned the outside of the house so when they got home to see. They got the license on line, contacted the Justice on line my daughter said if they could have gotten married on line they would have. BTW way that was on February 29 2008. so no anniversary but every four years! Hahaha Your garden work still looks lovely!

Too bad You can't go! Perhaps they can live send it to You via the phone or skype? That way You would still be there.

Awwwwww! It's so sad you can't be there when they tie the knot. Will they have it taped or maybe you can have it Skyped so you can watch on your computer. Well, the power washing was probably much needed so that is out of the way for another year. By next year there will be a celebration like no other.

So happy for your daughter !!! Congrats. Just think.... you have a whole year to plan the celebration of the century. I know it is going to be spectacular!!! Sorry you cannot attend the mini-wedding and I admire your chin-up attitude. Hugs to you!!!
