Carving Time



We carved our first pumpkins the other day. I carved a traditional one for my front porch.


My Daughter's looks a little bit worried.


And then we carved one for The Blog Tech.  Very appropriate don't you think?


The W's enjoyed laying next to them on the porch.  They love all of this Fall business.

Good looking pumpkins :-)

They actually sell pumpkins in the grocery store in the village I work and one is so big that I can't lift it, I want it :-) :-) Even though the pound price is low it'll cost a lot :-) :-) I doubt that I'll buy it but I am thinking of doing that :-)

I grew small pumpkins and have them scattered all around the porch and deck. We are to get two inches of snow here in Kansas tonight, so I am afraid that will be it for them... but... I have a large ceramic one with battery lights in it, and that can guard the door for another week.
