Meet the Girls

Okay, I did it.  On yet another steaming, horriblly hot day, I decided it is time for Fall.  So, I started decorating.

Just a little glimmer of Fall during this endless Summer.

 

As the days grow shorter, I have a little glimmer of Fall color.

Early this morning when I flipped the switch in my TV room, this made me smile.
 

 

I put the girls out.  They were ready to come off of their shelves and fly.

I bought these little ladies in Salem years ago.
 

All year long they patiently wait in my basement until the day that I can no longer contain myself and I bring them out for some Autumn fun.

They bring their pumpkins and cats along too.

And like 'Field of Dreams', If I decorate it, it will come.
