Wicked Weather Today

The weather listened to Phil yesterday and we are in for some wicked winter weather today.  Wicked, meaning ice.  I will drive through any kind of snow or storm but when it comes to ice, let's just say I have  great respect for it.

Our early morning sky gave us a warning that this is coming.


So, we will hunker down and wait until the worst passes.  Stay safe if you are in the path of this storm.

Like you, I take caution with ice. 4-wheel drive is excellent in snow but nothing is safe on ice. Rain, snow, ice is predicted for Massachusetts too.

We had the ice yesterday. The streets are OK because they were treated. But the dog went out this morning and slipped and fell on ice in the yard. My son had to go out and pick her up.

Ice is just nasty! Thankfully we rarely have black ice here because that's the worst one can have but any other kind of ice is almost as bad.

Our wicked weather is 70F here and we have to deal with tornadoes right now. I am watching and preparing.

We got all the wonderful snow but no ice with it thank God. It is bitterly cold here, but the ice left us alone so we're good.
