Interesting history. Florida is getting so bizarre, I think they should just secede from the U.S. And how are they going to enforce that elementary students not talk about periods? Burn them at the stake? Their denial of a lot of history and normal human existence is just freaky. Linda in Kansas
I grew up in Florida and when we retired 3 years ago we had considered moving back. Well that won't happen now. Florida has regressed so much and it's not the same place I remember. Besides it's become unaffordable for the most part. Rising insurance cost that they do nothing about. I do realize that hurricanes are always going to happen but what happened to taking care of the people that live there. They don't seem to want to take any action on the people that are destroying the Florida that I remember.
