That raptor cry you hear in movies and ads - it's almost always a red-tailed hawk's. Never ever an eagle's call. As a friend of mine who worked with birds of prey at a rehab center used to say, the bigger the bird, the more is sounds like a chicken.
For such big birds, you'd think they'd have a more impressive sound. Their chirps and whistles are cool but yeah - nothing like the fierce loud screeches in movies.
