Ramps


After two hours of meticulous cleaning.....
 
My Daughter had over 4 lbs. of ramps ready for me.  The best gift ever!  Today it is my turn to work with them.  I have 6 pounds of butter coming to room temperature which I will be turning into delectable ramp butter.

I wish I knew more about ramps, will have to do some research. I don't think they grow in these parts. Ramp butter sounds wonderful, but alas, our butter consumption is nil, ha. Bound to be some other uses and I can't wait to live vicariously through your posts!!!
