Winnie's x-ray looked great so now we enter the rehab phase of her recovery. The surgeon said that we can start walking, doing stairs and resuming all activities very slowly. When we came home, I took down her barriers and she was allowed to roam around the house. It took a few minutes for her to realize that she was free and then she explored everything to made sure nothing had changed from 2 months ago. She took the longest nap she has had since before her surgery. This little girl is happy to return to some normalcy.
