A Witch's Garden Giveaway

Teddy picked the winner for the 'White Magic' book giveaway and it is: William Bezek I will ship this out on Monday! This weeks giveaway is for a book called 'Garden Witchery, Magic From the ground Up'. To enter, leave a comment on this post. If you are not already a follower, sign up to follow.

It is filled with quotes from different writers and poets. Click to enlarge.

It covers lots of garden topics.

It has a whole chapter on Faery gardening.

This book was also purchased in Salem as many of my giveaway items are.

Who knew?

It explains the meaning and use behind many herbs and flowers.

It has lots of really useful information.

Many people believe in gardening by the moon. I am one of them.

There is a journal in the back so you can record your plantings and anything else you wish.

Speaking of witch's gardening...I could use a few spells. Next year I am going to have to put a lot of thought into my gardens.

I just don't have enough light for my beds.

I am getting a few things here and there but I want abundance!

The eggplants have done pretty well.

This is the first big eggplant to grow. Up until now I have only harvested Ichibons.

My first bell pepper.

The jalapenos have done exceptionally well.

Stick my name into the draw too!

gardening is tough here too...we live in a town house - so we have to do pots on the pation...3 tomato plants and we were able to make one salad so far *laughs* the mint is flourishing though...we were able to make quite a few mojitos!

Wow, Garden Witchery looks like an amazing book! Someday, when I have my own earth, I might be able to have a magical garden. For now, though, I have to make do with my magical pots/planters. We do have a pumpkin growing though!

Hi,
Beautiful and interesting this book. I loved his plantation!
I live in apartment and in front of the sea, the salt spray kills all plants it is winter now. My little decorative potted plants are all sad and not know what to do for them :(

Things aren't growing too well out here either.

We did have zucchini the other night and a few snowpeas but abundance is not a word I would use either.

I would love to win that book! It contains two of my favorite things ,gardening and folklore! We had such a wet and cold spring in the Pacific NW that all the tomatoes are really slow! Good luck in the garden. My flowers are now loving all our sunshine!

which really is just right for me because I love eating the squash / pumpkin blossoms ☺

I would love this book. It would cheer me up until next year. This is my worst garden ever. I talked to apple farmers around here and they aren't even going to have a harvest this year.

What a fantastic book... I'm in... your gardens look great, but I understand about abundance... we've been having weather problems here, too, and lots of gardens have simply not produced to capacity... I might have escaped that problem because I planted later than others... but, you never know... come visit when you can...

I love Ellen Dugan. This book has been on my list to buy, but I haven't come across it yet. I just picked up her "Cottage Witchery."

I'm sorry your garden isn't growing to your liking. Tomatoes and peppers do need so much light. But I'd hate for you to have to lose more trees in that gorgeous yard of yours, just for a tomato!

I would love to win that book. It looks fantastic! I can't wait to have a house with a garden of my own. Right now, I have an ever-expanding herb garden on my patio.

I've been wanting to get this book...Ellen is my favorite Pagan author. Her books are brilliant.

I plan to start my very first veggie and herb gardens next spring now that I actually have my own yard. :)

With house renovations though, there is just no finances left over for books, unfortunately.

BTW, your veggies look pretty darn good! Eggplant...mmmm.
I love photos from your garden! You have the BEST giveaways!

Be good(ish),
Chris.......

That book looks amazing and would be so happy residing with my other herbals and gardening books.

Also, your peppers do look delicious. I'm well into my second harvest of Lemon Drops, but yours make me a bit jealous.

You garden looks better than mine! Mine is mostly follage, and most plants are 6' and taller! Lots of blooms, very little fruit! Last year I had overabundance at this time....hmmm....if you find the spells for the garden, please send a few my way too. Thank you!.
Another wonderful book....have to visit Salem myself and find a few of these great books. Thank you for offering it to a lucky winner!

Teddy is so beautiful, enjoy seeing his pictures.
