Merry Christmas!!!

The cookies have all been delivered.

Just one last tray to take to the police station tonight.

My neighbors were very happy to get their cookie trays. Only one of them bakes so these are the only cookies they will have. One woman is a recluse and doesn't answer her door. But the kids tuck them behind her screen door and drive by after their last drop off and the cookies have always been taken inside by then.

The meats from Cleveland have been feeding the gang for morning brunches.

Truffled eggs and other goodies.

The presents are wrapped and we are ready for tomorrow.

Though it feels more like Easter than Christmas. It is sunny and 58 degrees. I am asking Santa for snow in the new year.

My cassoulet is baking, football is about to start, a perfect Christmas Eve except for the snow part.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas Eve Day!!!

I am about to make some goat's milk ice cream. We are having shrimp for dinner - I don't know how yet. I still have some wrapping to do and the goats are getting apples tonight. All will be happy.

A very Merry Christmas to you and the family.

We should all be so lucky to have a neighbor (or friend) like you. Love and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. xo
I bet the recluse lady needs those cookies the most of all -- your gift is the true spirit of Christmas.

Have a merry day tomorrow and bon appetit!
Everything looks beautiful! I'm getting ready to kick back and enjoy the afternoon. Your beautiful Plum Pudding is waiting to be served tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all!

I'd say have a magical holiday season, but it's obvious you make the magic! Let me know if a house is for sale near you. I'd love to be a neighbor. May you have lots of snow this winter! (But don't tell Teddy I said that, I know she's not keen on snow).

I've just eaten a big chunk of the Plum pudding :-) It is delicious and the hard sauce just made it perfect :-) Nex time I'll take a smaller piece though :-) :-) :-)

AutumnForest is right. You make the magic! Years ago the Goatmother worked for a Police Department and we had a lady who brought us cookies. Everyone so looked forward to her visits and appreciated it so much- especially since so many folks seem to dislike the Police. You know the recluse lady looks forward to your cookies as well. Too bad more people can't seem to give back to the Universe as you do! Merry Christmas!
