I quadrupled the recipe but here is the recipe for 1 dozen:
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cups bread flour
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons rapid rise yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon honey
For the glaze:
Form the dough into a dozen balls, place them in a buttered pan, cover and let them rise until doubled.
Brush them with the butter/honey glaze and bake them at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
Serve while warm.
These smelled wonderful.
I am guessing that they were good. I never tasted them since they all went to the kids.
