A Meat, Cheese and Fruit Platter

The Blog Tech and I went to a smoke shop on one of our trips a few weeks ago and bought a bunch of smoked cheeses and sausages.  In my neck of the woods, they smoke everything and there are smokehouses in every small town. I can even buy smoked butter!

I made the kids a huge platter for after school yesterday.  I added fruit and nuts too. This was the size of the end of my counter and  the kids devoured every bit of it.

I made them potato rolls so they could make sandwiches.  I had a big basket of Easter candy and sent that along too so even if the kids didn't get treats on Sunday, they had lots of them yesterday.

Looks very fitting for Spring and almost perfect. I could do without the ham, but that's just me.

I'm not surprised that the kids loved that platter. It's so beautiful. I made your very special carrot cake and mom LOVED it. Art is telling me I should make it again. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
