I find the latest poll that says 43 % of Republicans believe the orange skid mark should have the right to shut down the news outlets. WTF? Are we already a Russian annex?
If you get the chance, watch Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO. He skewers the buffoons in Washington like no other. It is hard to wrap your mind around so many politicians being tight with Putin. Are they all on the take? Is patriotism dead? Our government does not seem to have much. Ego and greed have taken over.
Some days I feel like we've been plunged into darkness - jettisoned back into the Dark Ages and it's all I can do to tread water to keep my head in the light. It is completely unbelievable how many absolutely stupid people there are in this country.
One of the pundits on TV said we focus too much on Trump's idiot supporters, and I believe that. They are NOT the majority of the country. Read any of the comments on political sites and they are mostly anti-Trump or Russian bots.
I live in a VERY conservative town, have an anti-Trump sticker on my car, and get nothing but support for it.
Yes, he won narrowly, but I still have hope for the USA. After all, this country also elected Barack Obama.
