More Thrift Shopping

The W's are waiting to go walking.  Willie likes to keep a paw on Winnie while they wait.

Winnie seems to not mind that Willie has the upper hand for the moment.

 They anxiously await their walk.

Visiting thrift stores, looking for the few things I need to complete my projects, is not helping with my downsizing. It was 'half off' green tags so I bought my daughter these vintage tiered cake pans still wrapped in their original papers.  Not bad for 2.00.  Maybe it's time to bring tiered cakes back into fashion.

A cute little bunny candy dish.

 A vintage Easter tin.

 A pewter bowl.

 Williamsburg too.  1.29!

And another blast from the past.  I've never made these rosettes but for 2.00, I thought it might be fun to try them.

I'll use this for a flower arrangement. It will look great with Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day.

I paid 39 cents for these two wooden bowls.  I'm buying a lot of wood to use for outdoor entertaining in the Summer. I sand and oil them and they look like new.

More baskets.  Some are vintage Easter baskets in great shape.

 More brooches too.

I found this cute wooden birdcage which I will use in my garden. 2.99.

I really like this pottery pitcher.  It holds a gallon of water and I will use it outside this Summer. 1.99.

I love the puppies! You really have a great thrift shop near you. I went to the two thrift shops in my town and they had nothing but clothes and shoes. I couldn't even find a book in the place.

Those rosettes, aren't they deep fried? I remember them from when I was a kid and I think it was my grandmother who made them.

I do like that pitcher!

Have a great day!

Christer.

Wow, such a nice idea of shopping. The images also look very vivid and alive. Very sharp captured I must say. Good work. Please keep going.image post production
