Another fall Festival

It was a weekend full of festivals.  That's the way it will be now until they are over until next year.  We wait all year for this and then bam!  There are too many to go to.

We stopped by one of our favorite farm markets and were thrilled by their new Fall look.

 Mums and more mums!

 Halloween and Fall galore.

I didn't buy anything because I prefer handmade things.

But it was still good to be able to catch the vibes.

 And pumpkins!

I love this pumpkin house they create each year.

We bought apples and donuts and headed off to a Fall antique show held in the woods.

I was tempted by these dough troughs.

Everyone seemed to have blow molds for sale.

Guess who bought one for his new house?

I made The Blog Tech stand in front of a cross with his ghost....he was afraid he would be struck by lightening.  I told him that if lightening hasn't hit me by now, I think he is pretty safe.

People are very into shooting animals in my neck of the woods.

They are also trump supporters which explains a lot.

The Blog Tech stopped for a snack.  Halushki....what a good Polish boy!

And then we arrived home. This pic through the windshield is horrible but I just had to show you what greeted us as we pulled into the driveway.

Willie was waiting for us behind the fence.

I bought this chair.  A handmade Windsor chair.

It was 20.00.  I actually pulled the seller to the side and asked if he had made a mistake and mislabeled the price.  He said that since it was a single chair, he was having trouble selling it.  He dragged it to shows all Summer long and just wanted to get rid of it.  So, now it is mine!

That's a great chair, what a steal for $20! Willie is so cute, my gosh he's getting so big. The blog tech in front of the cross is hilarious, I haven't been struck by lightening either yet! I love all the fun stuff at that Halloween store! Talk about getting in the spirit of things!!
That is how I like to buy furniture! The chair is beautiful. Your blog puts me in the mood for fall, now inevitable in the near future.

Where do you find these lovely festivals?
And that chair is gorgeous!

Wow, you got a deal (as you know) on that chair. I get his feeling, but still, the materials are barely covered I would think.

I envy you for all these autumn festivals. Well, fall festivals as you call them. We will miss the local carnival that arrives around the equinox because we have a special day with friends, but it's not the most autumn oriented festival, it just happens to be around the 22nd of September every year.
