Quarantine Day #45 Gifts





Yesterday was my birthday.  I planned on skipping it considering the present circumstances.  Plus, I could use the extra year. My kids thought otherwise.  My daughter bought me this spider and I love it.








It looks perfect hanging out on my candle holder.

 And she gave me these copper mushrooms.  I love them too.

 The spider had a short visit with them on my potting table.

 The Chef likes to make my favorite food so he made me eggs benedict.

 Topped with his famous hollandaise sauce.  It was wonderful.  I love having a chef in the family!


The Blog Tech and his wife sent us their favorite empanadas for dinner.  I haven't seen my kids in over 45 days but they still managed to make my birthday happy. It was very gastronomique!

Happy Birthday, my husband and I were talking about this year as "the year of Missed Birthdays" Of all the chi children and grands I only got to celebrate one in February. My children and his children and all seven grands will be virtual this year. I can do with a missed one this year, thank you very much. You had my favorite breakfast yum. Stay well and be safe.
