Witch Hats

I decided to make some witch hats this year. It's been a few years since I've made any.

I went for a more woodland witch look this time. Flowers and mushrooms and pumpkins.

This one is quite simple but stylish.

I have so much fun making these.

Right now, this is my favorite one.

A bird sitting in it's nest.

I used lots of feathers.

Moss and pine cones and mushrooms galore.

This is  a hummingbird eating from the tip of the hat.

Pumpkins, always pumpkins.

I've only made two so far.

But I do think I will pump out a few more before I am done for the year.

I’ve got to say, your favorite one is my favorite as well! Just beautiful. I know you will agree with me…it’s time for Summer to move on!

I’ve never seen so much talent in so many ways in just one person. I love the hummingbird!

Wow, the woodland one with the toadstools is stunning!

While I really like the second one (especially the hummer!), for myself I prefer the simplicity of the first.
Good job on both!
Your bespoke witch hats are always so fabulous!

Very cool, I don't think I've seen this idea before. Are the hats purchased, or do you make these also? I'm not sure which I prefer - the first makes me think Halloween, maybe it's the black hat. The 2nd one makes me think fall, again due to hat color?
I also wonder if you construct the hats or just decorate them. They are fabulous.

Your witch hats are phenomenal! I love them both. Could you please explain how you make the basic hat form? I love that they look so "witchy"!
