A Good Puppy Day

We got the ice storm that was predicted.  We awoke to a snow covered landscape, suspecting that ice was just underneath it.  The morning news was warning everyone to stay inside.  As it turns out, the puppers knew more than the humans and they were anxious to get out in it!  The Blog Tech's pup, Ziggy, lets TBT know when he is displeased by throwing the kitchen towel on the floor. TBT was moving too slowly yesterday morning and Ziggy threw in the towel.

Ziggy's next move is to hide and give TBT the stare of death.

Finally, Ziggy suits up and is out to do what bloodhounds do....SNIFF!

All is right with the world once more.

This is Ziggy watching sled riders.

And this is Ziggy back home after the walk.

Meanwhile, back at home, The W's couldn't get enough of the weather.  It rained for a day before the ice storm arrived.  The rain actually pitted the old snow and then the freezing rain formed a rough surface.  Then the snow covered all of this so walking was much better than it should have been. The pups spent most of their day outside.  They love to lay on the steps and watch people and puppies walk by.

Willie has a special spot he likes to lay in where he can look all the way down the street to see who's coming.

He was out there so long that he fell asleep with his face squished through the fence.  Needless to say, all pups shown in this post slept very soundly last night.

Wonderful pups! Enjoying every minute of their Winter wonderland.
We got the snow, rain, sleet mix too. The white landscape is beautiful in the sunshine today.
They are all so beautiful!

Great that it wasn't that bad walking around, great when that happens to the snow and one actually get better grip :-)

Have a great dya!

Lovely pictures. And I will repeat it again: bloodhound is such a sinister name for a sweet looking dog.

Never heard of a dog putting a towel on the floor to signal to the owner that he wants his way. What a hoot. I'm thinking the Ws are really penguins with too much fur. So cute how they monitor the yard. Linda in Kansas

Ziggy and the W's are much hardier than me, I wouldn't last more than five minutes out in that cold. I love Ziggy's eyes behind that chair. LOL
