Christmas Cookies 2023

Quite literally, all I've been doing is baking Xmas cookies. I've made about 800 as of yesterday.  These rugelach  are some of my favorites.

My Daughter baked these wreathes which people really love.

Thumbprint cookies are a yearly standard and I still use my mother's recipe.

Empire biscuits are a must.

These bon bon cookies are another recipe from my mom.

Almond slices.

Chewy gingerbread krinkles.

And Xmas cookie cups.  There are a lot more but I forgot to take pics of them all.  These will be made into cookie platters by Xmas Eve and dropped off to friends and then time to relax. That's it for now, time to bake cookies.

I've been baking cookies all weekend too, but not nearly so many as you and not nearly so fancy! I did fruitcake cookies, whipped shortbread, soft ginger cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies.

I fulfilled my urge to bake cookies by buying peanut butter cookies and chocalate chip cookies. I cannot mix cookies sitting here in my recliner and cannot stand to do it. So, that is that for cookies. Maybe next year.
Those all look so delicious.

Something disappeared from my answer. I bought cookies from refrigerated section that are baked and scored so all I had to do was put them in the oven.

Wow, what a lot of cookies! All look quite tasty. Have you ever posted your recipe for the gingerbread crinkles? I'd love to find one that stays soft.
