Want to Take a Walk With Me to Check on My Gardens?

Let's check out the peaches in the upper yard.

Then we will walk past the copper spider web

And down to the upper pond. Right now it is being repaired so it is turned off. It also is a bit muddy because the bottom was stirred up.

We are passing the Beauty Berry bush which will have bright purple berries this fall.

Down past the gazebo made from locust trees.

Inside is a nice shady place to sit and listen to the stream.

Past the room with the gurgling millstone which happens to not be gurgling right now because it to needs to be repaired!

And now we pass the small middle pond.

Down to the lower pond with the fish.

This is what makes it work.

The fish are heading for the Lily Pads.....oh look.....one has bloomed.

Past the outdoor fireplace with the stone mantel.

And past the stone house that is slowly being covered with ivy.

Finally into the lower garden....

Where my potting shed is in bloom.

The millstone stepping stone has clover growing out of the middle and New Dawn rose petals strewn around.

The Service Berries are ready to eat.

The Brussel Sprouts are growing tall.

The zucchini are ready....

To grow up this trellis.

And then we head back up the path past the Katsuras

Past the Baptisia pods....

Past the bird's nest in my apple arbor.

And through the gate to the upper yard.

I found you through the Halloweentree blog. I love the pictures, there is nothing more beautiful than a garden in summer, except of course one in fall.
Your gardens are spectacular! I love the whole property and I want to see more, more, more! The use of the millstones is very artistic and creative. And I especially like the last shot where I could just make out the out of focus urns and steps. Being a photographer...I could just photograph there forever. It would be a beautiful place to take portraits as well. Exceptional! Every year I take a new series of "Witch" photos of myself and sometimes others and I would have a field day in that yard! Just seeing your photos makes me feel very creaive! :o)
