Halloween Before and After Salem Witch House

Here is a nice Fall centerpiece I thought I would show you.
It holds candle votives.

Remember this mirror I bought a while back and paid 3.95 for it? I took it apart and painted the frame black.

Then I reassembled it and used a picture of the Salem Witch House to replace the old picture.

I love this house. We visit it each year on our New England trip.

And there you have it! A unique Halloween decoration.

*Halloween Memories: As soon as all the leaves fell each Fall, all of the kids in the neighborhood would build leaf walls across the road. Then we would hide in the bushes and watch as cars slowed down to a stand still and then inched their way through. We found this to be one of the most hysterically funny things to occupy our time!

Halloween Memories: Oh, to be young and have that kind of time on our hands again! Wouldn't it be great!

I'll bet you can't wait for your trip!

You should open your house for tours at Halloween and charge admission; it would pay for your thrifting.

I would love to hear more about the Salem Witch House! ;D
Great job on the re-construct!
What a great way to re-make an old mirror!

The Salem Witch house is really beautiful! I do remember reading something about that house and what happened there, but the memorie is vague. I think I´ll have to do some research about it!
Have a great day now!

You did a great job on the mirror. I remember we had one like this in our home, it had a Currier and Ives print.
One of my favorite childhood vacations was visiting Salem!
