A Halloween Storm

I am traveling all day today so I will just post some pics of the Nor'easter that blew through here. This was a wicked storm! Perfect for this time of year.

Look back to the pic of the lobsterman pulling in the trap from a couple days ago. He was right where the big wave is above.

No fishing in these waters.

I am heading back to Skaneateles and will hopefully get some really good pictures to post.

I won't know who won my bag of goodies on Mrs. B's giveaway until Sunday (I am writing this on Saturday night) because I will be in bed early so I can leave at the crack of dawn if not before. I will let you know who the winner is when I find out or you can just check at Mrs. B's.

I am thinking about doing my own giveaway when I return home.

I wish everyone could win something!

Let me know if you would be interested in a Halloween giveaway on Octoberfarm????

I still have more pics of Salem that I will be posting in the next couple days.

Then back home to regular life!

But I am not complaining because then it will be serious Halloween time!

I will be posting some of my Halloween food recipes. I don't make things with gummy bugs or anything like that. I make the REAL stuff!

I am so glad you came along with me on this trip!

Good luck with the giveaway!!!!

UPDATE: The winner is RUE!!!! I will be shipping it out as soon as I return home!!! Congrats!!!!

Storms on the shore - any shore - are so centering and grounding to me. I can not ignore their drama and the passions that they stir ... and draw back to my center where I can feel them fully and earth them within and around me. I'm an inlander, but I've had my times along the shores of the eastern seaboard ... and a part of me misses that ... experience.

Thank you - so much - for sharing these images. :)

My blog uppdater doesn´t update all blogs at the moment, so I almost missed this one :-(

Wonderful pictures! Made me wanna go down to visit the ocean near my old home in Gothenburg.
Have a great day now!

The Atlantic looks so different from the Pacific. Someday I'll get out there to see it first hand.

Oh, I love a storm on the shore! We're pretty close to the beach, so whenever a good storm starts rolling in, we pack up and go watch!
