Happy St. Patrick's Day

I bought some of these greens.

I passed on the O'Shit shirt though.

Green is for sale everywhere.

The parade was held last Saturday so it feels like St Patty's Day is over.

Local lingo

I went in to town early thinking I would get lots of photos of green people.

The streets were mostly empty.

I guess the bitches drank up on Saturday.

This was so very un-Irish.

There were plenty of green flowers for sale.

Poor roses. What a way too end their lives.

At least these found their green on their own.

A lone green runner.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day how ever you are celebrating. I took the Blog Tech out to breakfast and we had corned beef hash.

St. Patrick's Day is with us,
The day when all that's seen
To right and left and everywhere
Is green, green, green!

"Lá Fhéile Phádraig Shona Dhuit", Happy St. Patrick's Day to You!

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too!

If it weren't for bloggers, I wouldn't even know it WAS St. Patrick's Day. It's not high on my list of observances LOL.

Poor, poor, green roses. They just look sick.

And who wants to wear clothes that have "shit" scrawled across them?! Sometimes, one just has to say no. Thanks. But no.

Oh, the town looks like it has fun on this day! We don't have enough Irish in the SW, but perhaps it's the dangerous sunlight that keeps them away--otherwise, we'd probably have lobster faces out here in the bright sunshine. I'm part Irish and I appreciate the day myself. I look good in green, too!

Fun, fun pics. My St. Pat's menu has changed. Trader Joe's actually had Irish bangers! So I'm eating meat tonight & drinking beer. I'll probably fry potatoes as well. Happy Day!

How funny - I did not notice much green today either...

Cheers to you!
A belated Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!
I have such a routine that it is difficult to break out of it..but I wanted to wish you a Happy St. Pat's and just ...dwindled off ...somewhere. Darned if I even know where but was gone by late afternoon to daughters for Corned beef and cabbage.

The times they have changed haven't they. Just hang their "shitty shirts" and never give it a thought.

Granddaughter called from New York. She had been to the parade..then to the campus pub and was ready to come home to California...poor baby. Irish Whisky for a first drink is really...a bit brave.

Our day was nice...really nice. Yours was really interesting... :) Made me laugh..but those poor roses! WHAT one earth did they do with those..put them in green dye?? Was the hash good? I love corned beef hash!

Love,
Mona
