Teddy in the Gardens Video and a First Blog Anniversary Giveaway

The winner of last weeks giveaway is: Max's Mommy! Send me your info and I will ship it right out!

This week, April 7th, is the anniversary of my first post! So, I am giving away this beautiful antique set of brass candlesticks to celebrate. I did not polish them but when polished they will shine brightly. I have an aversion to polishing metal. You know the drill. To enter, leave a comment on this post and if you are not already a follower, join to follow and also leave a comment. The winner will be drawn next Saturday and a new giveaway will be posted.

Here are a few videos of Teddy checking out the gardens after the long winter. You can see that she is a bit out of shape. So am I! It is a long walk back up those steps. You can see that Chow Chows hop up steps and after she stops for a rest, she takes it step by step! She still has her winter coat and it has been very hot here. I can't imagine running around in that fur coat.

I think we all are out of shape after this winter :-) Teddy is so cute and I can tell You that I would have sonded much worse going up those stairs :-) :-)

I like Your garden a lot! I wish mine wasn´t so flat as it is, it would be nice with some mountine in it too :-)

When looking at Your videos I get the feeling of early summer, we are still way behind over here.

Congratulations to Max´s Mommy! and congratulations to Your first year anniversary! Those candlesticks are really beautiful!
Happy Easter!
Christer.

The doors are magical.
The churchbells remind me of my childhood.

It's sunny and snowing today.
*sigh*
Congrulations to Max's Mom!

A garden of delight and spirit. The many steps with twists and turns is a journey. It changes moment by moment. The shrubs, trees, flowers and pond punctuate the mother earth. Peace is everywhere. How wonderful and fun to share.

Teddy is a super Chow Chow guide. I've temporarily lost my sound button and will have to go back to listen when I find the lost button. :)

Have a great weekend.
I am a follower of your wonderful blog.

What a gorgeous garden. Such beautiful moments with your Teddy. I'm too busy still setting up my gardens to just stroll in them, yet. I have a five-year plan and, so far, it's on schedule. Then I'll bring my tea out to enjoy under my favorite tree and simply blog from there! How 21st Century!

The candle sticks are gorgeous. I, er, uh, ummm, I, uh, covet them...

Happy Easter!

WOW! For some reason I thought you had been blogging longer than a year! I've just been blogging myself since last June and now it feels like I've always been doing it!
I love love Love your videos! Of course I love seeing Teddy and It's so cool to see your garden! You've given me a few ideas to steal! tee hee! I've searching the net today for garden ideas, especially after my neighbor said he was pulling out the hedge that's on the border of our property and laying railroad ties and gravel down so that he can park his boat there!!! Ahhhhh! So, I'm searching sites for fencing, bushes, trees and a garden shed! I just can't look out my window every morning and see his *#!* boat! Sigh...........
Have a Happy Easter! I'm going to my sisters tomorrow for Chinese!
XOXO - Cindi

Teddy is adorable bounding up and down those stairs ... so different from my little Pom who sort of does little gazelle leaps up steps LOL.

Love those doors! What beauties - a real invitation to explore what's beyond!

Oh, you have a very cool yard! Do you have to brush Teddy a lot to keep her so fluffy??

Congratulations to Max's Mommy! It is your turn to do a Happy Dance!!

And Congratulations, Jaz, on a whole year of blogging! Time sure has passed quickly. I guess that's a sign that we're having a good time. I hope that you are too!!

The candlesticks that you are giving away are simply gorgeous! I love brass.

Now. .when are you giving away those doors? Oh. .I can dream, can't I?? They are so intriguing, both in their own design, and the psychological invite as to what is beyond.

Your gardens are totally wonderful!! So many different levels and areas. It makes me want to wander for hours, just following Teddy's bouncing fluffy tail!
Teddy is so adorable! I could just love him to death!
I would love to win the candle sticks they are beautiful
