I forgot to post a close up of the old crone.
She might be old but she has sparkly fringe on her cape.
And a bubbling cauldron at her feet and she is holding a bowl of the bubbling brew. Some of her trusted friends are looking on. Or are they the next to go into the pot?
I found my bikes. These bikes are great. They are made by Swiss Army and they actually fold up with just the flip of a lever. They fit in a bag which you can carry over your shoulder.
With endless 90 degree weather forcasted, I look to the crescent mood for signs that fall is on the way. Sunday is the first day of Summer so the days will begin getting shorter!!!
Look what I found? A garage.
I even have extra room on the shelves.
I used 2 shelves for plates and glass and I took EVERYTHING back to the thrift shops. I found that I was collecting a pile of things to keep and then came to terms with the fact that I had no where to put them and it was time for them to go. I thought I would be making many more mosaics than I have and I had amassed stacks of plates and such. After making several mosaic pieces, it became clear that once made, it would be hard to part with them. Since I have no where to use them, it is impractical to make them.
Teddy looked sad that I was giving away all of my stuff. Her favorite thing is to lay by my feet when I am working on a project. Don't worry pup....I will find a new project.
For any of you that made my no knead rosemary bread and liked it, here is a new tip for you. I bought this at a thrift store and it is perfect for bread baking.
I heated the base in the 450 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Then I added the dough but this time I made a double recipe. I was not quite happy with how low the last bread was.
Look at this beauty!
It needs to cook a bit longer since it is so much higher. It should cook for 45 minutes covered and another 45 minutes after you remove the lid. I didn't think this recipe could get any better but it just did.

It must echo in our garage now :-) Does it feel godd now when You´ve given it all away? I don´t think You´ll have any troubles at all finding new projects! Youb are such a creative person.
That bread looks good! Fantastic how high it got!
Have a great day now!
Christer.
The pottery you cooked the bread in, what is it called, brand name, or type? Let me know and I'll be on the lookout for one.
The bread is definitely beautiful. I baked mine in an odd shaped old guardian service vegetable pot. It was a great success!
xoxo to Teddy Waits for MaMa's New Project. :)
Have a great day!
Congratulations on getting a big project completed! Your garage seems to be lying in wait now for the next creative surge to hit.
I love your bicycles. Ours are collecting layers of dust in the bike rack in the garage.
And your bread is beautiful! Picture perfect! I'm smelling that wonderful fragrance as I type. Major yum!!
Out on the mesic prairie, the asters are beginning to bloom! Early Fall? I keep looking for signs!
The bread looked wonderful and bet it tasted even better.
Great job on the garage.
