Halloween Faces

I realized the other day that I have lots of Halloween faces in my house. Most are out all year long. These sconces have scary faces.

They hang over a pair of chairs with scary faces. Both the sconces and the chairs faces represent the north wind.

These guys are just out for the holiday and not scary at all.

But this little lady is out all year long because she holds my broom pen.

I have a pair of these monks that were used as pipe holders. Note to self......time to dust.

This is one of a pair of scary faced creatures.

This pair is scary because they have no faces (or heads, arms or legs!).

The Green Man's face glares from my fireplace screen. He is at his best when the fire is roaring.

Just a quick post today because I am behind schedule with lots to do.

I like your scary stuff a lot. Problem is, you own a dog. At least my owner, Autumnforest doesn't have a pet that would chew on me. Too bad, cause you seem to be a good cook too.
I think those sconces (new word for me) looks scaru to be honest :-) But I like the chair! Not to mention that dragon! It is magnificent!! The torsos too! Really good made!Well the fireplace screen is wonderful too!

Have a great day now!

Love all the faces! Especially the Green Man - although the chair backs are gorgeous too! I just love that the wind has teeth! There is definitely a bite in the air in January here!
Stopping by from Blueberry Plains! Wow, your blog really makes me feel like fall must surely not be far even if it doesn't feel like it yet down south. I love that animated spell book and all those Halloween goodies. I stopped by your 4th spread - those stuffed peppers couldn't possibly be more perfect.

Thanks for being a reader too!! :)

Wow! Some of these pieces of furniture could belong to a M.R. James ghost story.

I'm sure you know, being the good witch that you are, the ancient face carvings are a shield to scare away the evil little spirits that wander the earth and get in through open windows and doors! Yours are beautiful.
Love the broom pen and stand! ♥

Love the fall blog decor. And your house stuff, too. Goes w/o saying, almost. :)

I am enamored of the green man image. I have him all over my home. When I got my autumn leaf tattoo, my first choice was the green man, but then I realized that a floating face on my shoulder wouldn't look as cool as a life-sized autumn leaf that landed here, so instead I put his face up in every room.
Love all the faces! I appreciate the work involved in all of these.
Wonderful!
