Peanut Butter Cups

If you are a peanut butter cup lover, this recipe is for you!

December 19th.

These are much richer than store bought peanut butter cups.

The Recipe:

*4 T. dark brown sugar
*2 2/3 C. confectioners sugar
*1/2 C. butter plus 1 T. for melting the chocolate
*1 1/2 C. creamy peanut butter
*16 ounce package of chocolate chips

M the brown sugar, powdered sugar, butter and peanut butter until it is smooth. Press walnut sized balls of this mixture into mini muffin pans.
Melt the chocolate with the 1 tablespoon of butter over low heat. When melted, spread the chocolate over the peanut butter cups to the edges. Place the pans in the refrigerator until the cups harden. Remove and pop the cups out of the pans.

I use vanilla bean paste in most of my cookie and candy recipes.

This is what the peanut butter mixture looks like when it is ready.

These are really good Christmas treats and so very easy to make.

So lovely recipe!I love Your blog:)
Mmmmm, in my imagination I can taste their rich peanut buttery chocolatey goodness!
May I please ask...? Monday [12/20] is the Eve of Yule, is it not? Because the Winter Solstice and Yule, are on Tuesday [12/21], yes?

And like other such events, Yule is celebrated on the Eve, is it not?

Would you please post how you celebrate both the Eve of Yule and Yule itself? Thank you so much!

I've looked on the Net but haven't found much... -sigh-

Please and thank you.

Looks yummy!
It´s strange really, we swedes loves peanuts but I can´t remember the stores selling especially much peanut butter?!

There are usually only one or perhaps two brands to choose from in our stores.

Have a great day now!

That's going to have to become one of my Xmas cookie standard recipes. I love to do something with chocolate/peanut butter since everyone loves that combo.
