Happy Valentine's Day

Each of my friends got one of these delivered to them yesterday.

I am sure they are all in a chocolate coma today!

I wrapped them up along with bags of the heart cookies.

And I made them each a special Valentine card. Here are a few of them.

When I was little one of my favorite things to do was decorate a Valentine's box to take to school.

(click on them for a closer look)

I just carried over the technique to make these cards.

This is a vintage Valentine's postcard from the late 1800's that I used on this one.

You can take the little kid out of school but you can't take the Valentine's decorating out of the little kid!

Happy Valentine's Day from this old little kid!

I have never seen such beautiful Valentines. You are amazing!
Happy Valentine's Day, Jaz! I used to love decorating a Valentines Box too. I wonder if kids still do that in school? Low tech fun. Valentine's Day at school is great so long as the teachers make clear that you must bring a valentine for everyone!

what a wonderful friend you are. The brownie plates, so beautifully wrapped, the cookie hearts so painstakingly decorated, and the fabulous cards. I too remember with fondness those valentine boxes at school. Valentines Day was always so special. And now you have created such special gifts for your friends. Valentine hugs to you and Teddy, and oh, heck, give the Blog Tech one too!!
They are simply beautiful!!!

Hugs and ♥'s...
On Valentine Day!
