An Unhappy Chow Chow

Teddy had that look again this morning. The look that asks......why did you put this snow in my yard mama???

When you think about it, chow chows are not much different than kids. They blame their mothers for everything.

Teddy likes to walk up these back steps to lay on her porch and observe her gardens. But not in this snow.

And it is colder than a witch's.......weather vane!

No action on the grill for a while.

But alas, the snow melt kicked in and worked and dried up Teddy's patio. I think this is the Teddy look asking me why I couldn't melt the rest of the yard.

She decided maybe it was better to just hang out around the stove all day and try to get sympathy food.

Ahhh Teddy...that's exactly what I do when it's too cold and snowy to go out and play in my yard!! :)

Teddy would not like it here. The snow is as high as a goat's udder!

I like her technique, I'd use the same one, hang around the stove and look for sympathy food.

Ooh! She actually does have sad looking eyes. That's a lot of snow by the way! Brightest blessings!

So with that snow melt system you have, does it heat the patio rock, too? I'm hoping maybe it's a toasty spot for Teddy to warm his bones - poor guy. I certainly hope he got some comfort food, if not, he needs to come visit me. :-)

I thought Teddy loved the snow!
Teddy, I could be worse. It could have rained all day like here. You would be so cold and wet. Just sit there and look cute and momma will feed you something special. Spring will be here soon. Love you!

Aww poor Teddy!!

Standing around the Stove and begging for Sympathy food sounds like a good plan :-p

Mine are the same way. they stand by the sliding door and look out. I open the door and they look at me as if to say - ARE YOU KIDDING??

Back to bed they go!

Awww, Teddy is so cute! She reminds me of our late dachshund, Chloe, who also hated snow....she was so small, she'd sink into it.

Last week, we had a terrible ice storm. Right now, it's 75 degrees, sunny, and my Sunflowers are starting to emerge from their beds. Ahh, living in Texas.....

I dislike snow VERY much myself! If it never snowed here again, it would be to soon :O)...

I just love your witch weather vane!!:O)
It is so amazing how her furry face expressions seem to match your captions. In the next to the last picture she does look happier.

Blessings.

xoxo to "Teddy Red Fluffs".
Tell Teddy I'm tired as well of the snow! Teddys are smart no matter what sex they may be, much like Teddy of My Farmhouse Kitchen! I enjoy both of your blogs and your doggies!
Poor Teddy! If she lived here she would be having sunny days!

Teddy seems to be liking the snowless patio. Hopefully it won't be long before the rest of the yard is that way too...

Trying to stay warm here too - the winds...my god...the winds! It's got to let up soon, don't you think? Ugh.

Poor Teddy - the big thaw will come and then she'll have to deal with muddy paws. The horror of it all!

I agree with Teddy, I also do not like snow!! Diane
I quite understand Teddy. We have snow and minus 10 degrees. Tiffi jumps around on 3 legs, lifting one at a time to warm it. A warm kitchen and good smells is much more fun.

So did it work? How much sympathy food did Teddy get? If I were her, in your kitchen, I'd be doing the same thing!
It must be pretty ruff for Teddy smelling all that wonderful food in your kitchen. :) Love the photos of him. What a handsome fellow. I too hope the snow soon melts away.:)

Poor little Teddy. She looks so perplexed. Luckily she has a mama to make her feel better.
