The Work Continues

The powder room is finally done.....well, it would be nice if I put the plunger away!


This is the nightlight in the powder room.


One hand holds the light bulb and the other hand shields the light.


There are get-a-way brooms all over the guest house. For midnight rides, you know!


The main floor is entirely open though sort of divided into 4 sections.


My green bowl collection.


It sits on the back of the kitchen counter.


I finally finished the kitchen.


The glass cabinet is an antique and weighs a ton!


The Hansel and Gretel cuckoo clock hangs in the kitchen.


There are back to back fireplaces in the center of the main room.


The Black Forest Carving over the mantle is one of a pair and they were the inspiration for the entire decor.


The jukebox is filled with all my favorites.


There is one of these hutches on either side of the main room. They are from Belgium.


I covered most of the radiators. All of the wood in the house is cedar.


This is one of the guest bedrooms.


The trunk is filled with my quilt collection.


This is the other side of the room.


This is one of my favorite pieces in my witch collection. It is a pyrography chest depicting a witch mixing up a brew and there are imps and toads and newts all around the cauldron.
