It's apple season so I made some apple sauce. I know this is not very exciting but it is all I had to post today!
I bought some local Granny Smith apples. I like a tart sauce so if you want it sweeter, use a sweeter apple.
Put 2 cups of apple cider in a heavy pot and peel your apples.
Place a cinnamon stick in the cider and bring it to a boil.
I added 2 tablespoons of pumpkin honey.
And 4 tablespoons of brown sugar.
Chop the apples in uniform pieces and add to the boiling cider. Add 3 tablespoons of brandy.
Cover the pot and let boil for 15 minutes or so until the apples soften.
Add 6 tablespoons of butter. Mash it with a potato masher.
Easy applesauce! I serve this with my Oktoberfest food.

Just saw one a month ago. One. Just one.
A new little apple tree in the back yard. Tiny apple...growing...turning red..
GONE! Where we said!! Where did that tiny apple go? Looked at your pumpkin...YE GODS!
That ...little critter is no longer welcome and now we know where the tiny new apple we were so proud of went.
HELP!!
NO LONGER PLEASED TO SEE THAT SQUIRREL...
