Rockport

As we were walking through Rockport, we saw a lobster boat coming in to make a delivery.

We ate that same lobster that evening.

Bearskin Neck is a cute little area of Rockport filled with shops and restaurants.

This lobster shack is the most photographed object in this country.

A lobster raft.

These are the fishermen from the boat going to eat at a local restaurant.

This is the cutest little store.

Downtown Rockport.

We take off early tomorrow ahead of a snow storm that is bringing between 6-12 inches. This week just flew by. I can't believe the trip is almost over.

I can't believe this snow! We are expecting 2-4 inches tomorrow night! This morning it was just a dusting! Regardless, it is OCTOBER!!! Have a safe trip home and thank you for taking me to Salem!

I love Rockport! Many--MANY--years ago, took my sons there. To this day, the photo of my then-two year old running in the sand in his over-sized sunglasses is hanging on my fridge (he's now 23). Thank you for the memory!

There's a certain feeling to twons by the coast that doesn't exist otherwise. This town is just so beautiful! Love the harbor but then I love everything bybthe ocean :-)

I do hope you'll get away before the snow comes!
Take care!
Christer.

I have really enjoyed your trip!! We visited Rockport several years ago. Thanks to your photos, I can't wait to get back to that part of the world. Have a safe trip home!
What a fabulous little town Rockport is. I love it. I know Teddy is having a ball eating all that lobster. Please don't get caught in the snow storm. Get home to hand out all that Trick or Treat candy.

Motif Number One. I know it well. I love Rockport and could spend all day going in and out of all those lovely shops.

Did you say Rockport has lobster straight off the boat? WOW. It doesn't get any better than that. LOBSTER is one of my favorite things. I hope Teddy had her fill. Love the "Love you to the Moon and back" photo. The shop must have been charming. Hope you get out early enough to beat this monster storm. Keep safe. But if you get stranded, enjoy the scenery. The first snow of the season is always breathtaking.

Are you sure you don't want to take some snow back with you? We can arrange something ;) Lobster is a wonderful part of Maine. I love it so. I am a happy transplant. Have a safe trip home. Hope you had a wonderful time. I am heading to FL next week to see my mom. Shrimp there...yum!
Very vivid photos, good views of the port, and city. So fun to tag along.

Thank you, for sharing.

xoxo to Teddy Heads Home.....

It all looks fabulous - so very different from where we are. And you are soo lucky to have lobster! For some reason, we don't get shellfish here in Istanbul. Enjoy!!

I love Rockport! We stay there whenever we visit Salem or Boston. Good luck avoiding that snow. I hope it doesn't continue up the coast.
