Fall

Fall has hit my gardens squarely on now. My kitchen maple is blazing red.

The paths are paved with leaves.

The pool is blanketed with maple leaves.

Thank heavens for pool covers.

This is the maple from the outside. It literally casts a red glow over the entire kitchen.

I wish it could look this way all year. I have leaves everywhere in my house too. They blow in through the windows, come in on our shoes and track in on little chubby puppy feets! I like having them in the house...Fall decorations!

The Japanese maples have not changed yet.

I never planted or trained the ivy to do this. It covered the garage on it's own.

We have had freezing fog 3 times in one week. It looked perfect for Halloween and was scary as well. The orange glow on my porch is from the pumpkin blow molds.

Beautiful, beautiful. The ivy is glorious, perfect! I love when the leaves blow and swirl in the yard and as you drive down streets. So autumn-ish! Freezing fog sounds downright ominous! But also delightful! I think we witches love fog almost as much a big thunderstorm in the middle of the night!

Your garden is beautiful all seasons. It is so important to have those fiery colors when autumn comes and so many forgets that when they buy trees and bushes. I tend to forget that too :-) :-)

Love that fog photograph!

Have a great day!

Beautiful! And that pungent scent of fall is intoxicating too, isn't it...which I'm sure you can really smell in your yard!! :)

How lovely! Almost all our trees here are aflame as well. ^-^

I just wish that the color lasted a bit longer, before all the leaves blow away!

Fog is great! Love your picture. Alas, the closest we can come here to a thunderstorm is the strong wind storms we get in the Fall and Winter. Our trees have already lost most of their leaves. 'Chubby puppy feets' - snicker. Love it!
With the rain today all my maple leaves are on the ground, and in the house. Walnut trees are bare. It looks so sad. Puppies love rolling in the leaves and bringing them inside. The ivy is wonderful. I guess it's time to make a pot of soup!
Enchanting fall photos.

The sights, sounds and smells of the season bring a smile to my face everyday. It's so sad to see the colors fade. Freezing fog is awesome. To have it for Halloween. WOW. Just love hearing 'little chubby puppy feets' bring in leaves. How sweet. Take care.
