Happy Thanksgiving To Everyone

We are having a bit of a different Thanksgiving this year.

I could not bring myself to roast one more turkey. I am officially turkeyed out.

So I made Bev's turkey bone gumbo and take my word for it...it is fantastic. I will show how to make it tomorrow. Save those turkey carcasses.

And we are having turkey and blue cheese sandwiches on my potato rolls.

No fancy table settings with silver and good china.

We will all be in the garden room eating on the floor with the cone head puppy! A Thanksgiving to remember!!!

It does seem strange not making a big T-Day dinner but I'm sort of enjoying the rest. Turkey sandwiches are also on my list of to do today. I feel so sorry for everyone without your Plum Pudding. Had some for breakfast! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I like the idea of keeping things simple. I love a roast turkey - but I like it all year long, not just once a year, so I wouldn't miss it on Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see the gumbo recipe!

Enjoy your day! Those pies look amazing!!

Sounds like a plan, no fancy plates. Turkey gumbo and turkey sandwiches with blu cheese. Did you say BLUE CHEESE? YUMMY! Be sure and give Teddy some too, poor little conehead. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you, Teddy, The Blog Tech and the rest of the family.

those sandwiches sound DELICIOUS!
Doesn't much matter what you eat or where you eat it. If you are happy and together THAT is what matters!

Happy Thanksgiving

I like the sounds of Beverly's breakfast,, breakfast of champs. I think your dinner setting is perfect,, its who you share your space with not the space, your garden room is probably stunning I'm sure, turkey with blus cheese ,, yummy, wonder if you put cranberries on it,, I think I would,

Well, we're doing traditional this year again. I'm okay with it since we don't eat much turkey at all during the year. I'm looking forward to it... it's only minutes away now!

I hope you all have a lovely easy going Thanksgiving Day with conehead puppy. :-)

Bright blessings,
Bird
