Teddy and Snow!!!

We finally got about an inch of snow. What is with this winter. I wait all year long for this time of year and it has been more like spring than winter.

Teddy will stand like this for ever because she knows her treats are in that back room. This is her asking for a treat.

I can never make her wait long. She has me well trained.

No, she is not looking at me. She is staring at the treats I have in my hand.

Notice her left foot? That is her shaking to get a treat.

Thanks to all who have asked how she is doing. If you look very closely you can see a pink patch over her left eye. She still scratches it sometimes but otherwise her eyes have healed nicely. I do have to give her drops twice a day which at times can be a challenge. I hope that is it for medical problems for a long time. I know she has definitely tapped out on doctors.

So You finally got some snow :-) They said we should get some tonight but now they've changed their minds. No snow and instead of it getting colder it now will stay warm :-)

I'm glad we don't get that snow but I wouldn't mind if it got really cold for a week or two, that would kill off lots of ticks :-)

I'm so glad Teddy's okand I hope that last itching spot will heal quickly! All dogs I've ever had has always allowed me to give any kind of medication without arguing with me :-) But they sure look as if I was about to kill them :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

We got some snow last night too. In fact our forecast has snow every day through Thursday. Ugh.

That looks like the Chow Stare of Death to me....
That beautiful girl just does not need anymore face lifts. Hugs and kisses sweet Teddy girl!

I am never sure if WE are the ones who do the training with our pets, or if THEY are the ones who train US!:-) Teddy certainly seems to know who "butters HER bread!":-)

It does look like she's doing well. I think a little spoiling isn't bad after all the medical issues that she's had lately.

Teddy is adorable coated in snow sugar. As I type this comment I am baking sweet potato slices in the oven to test out on my crew later. I have never made this for them before so if it turns out & if they like them I will post the recipe.

I hope Teddy's eye improves. I am going to read your back posts to find out what happened. :(

Teddy looks so cute! Like a sugar dog. I'm so glad to hear that she is doing well. It's so sad when pets are having a hard time. It 's kind of like little children, they just don't understand why they have to have miserable things done to them! Hope she continues to heal.

I've been sick. Now on the mend. Back to blogging and commenting as long as I don't have relapse. It has been an unusual winter, hasn't it? TEDDY looks too sweet glistening in snow, regardless of how little there was. How can you resist that adorable face. I'd be giving her treats ALL day. I'm so-oo bad, I know. She looks so full of angst as she waits, though. LOL Glad she is doing so well with her eyes. NO MORE CONES.

I wish I could send some snow and cold your way, Jaz! We have lots to spare at the moment, unfortunately.

She's so adorable! One of the pix makes her look just like a great big warm hassock! So glad the eyes are clearing up. Nothing sadder than a pet needing care -- and, of course, you could use the rest and extra time to focus on great recipes!!! Enjoy the snow -- we haven't had any, yet, but it's promised.
