Thank You Dear Sister and Me

My sister sent me a gorgeous flower arrangement for my birthday.

My house smells like a funeral home!

And I bought more bling for the bad paw! This is a John Hardy piece from his bamboo line and money from each sale goes to planting bamboo in Bali. A good justification for the purchase! My hand is still swollen and has an unnatural orange tinge from the liquid they swabbed it with for surgery. But I finally managed to remove the black arrow they drew on my arm with permanent marker to make sure they operated on the correct hand!
it would have been awful if the operated on my perfectly good hand by mistake.

I saw that arrow on your arm and thought you had a rad tattoo! Happy Happy Birthday WEEK!
Beautiful and thoughtful. But I understand the "smells like a funeral parlor." -grin-

Question? Am I the only reader... Who went I come to your blog, something triggers my computer to want to Download Some File...?

Been happening every time, for a while now.

If no one else has mentioned it, must just be my computer... Is being thus triggered..

I thought it was a tattoo as well! they drew on me as well before my kidney surgery, the 'correct' side. Surgeon-scrawl. The hand is looking a lot better.

Yes. Yes, it would have been awful! Hope it's feeling better.
I do love this bling also! We both like big rings. Isn't it nice to have a sister. Mine is the best.
Thank you for replying to me question, in my blog comments.

It's still happening, and I am clue-less!!!!!! Took a pic of my monitor screen, with your blog up and the crazy "file" message. I'll send it to you, if you will please email me.

Because I can't access click-able links to blogger's email. Ugh... Long story, with new computer, etc.

I have my email, on my profile but... Here it is...

Thought I was going to DIE laughing when you said your house smells like a Funeral Home. LOVELY flowers, by the way. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. The NEW bling looks amazing. HAND is healing, I hope. GLAD they DID operate on the proper hand. You already had one nightmare, you did NOT need another. take care. ENJOY your day.

Isn't it fun to have birthday celebrating for several days?!? Your hand is actually looking better, so I'd say you are on the road to recovery. One deserves some extra bling for the bad paw! Happy birthday again!

Isn't it interesting how they mark the area to be operated on. My husband has had lots of orthopedic stuff so he has been marked up quite a bit! Another happy birthday! Flowers lovely!

May I chime in that I too thought you had the greatest tattoo!!
Beautiful flowers, though smelling like a funeral home is something all together different...perhaps the death of your 50's, lol!
Enjoy the bling, but next time don't wait for severe injury to get one.
Lovely flowers and wishing you a Happy Birthday.

Another fabulous ring!!! Your hand seems to look better I hope you feel some improvement but am sure it will take a while. I wonder if you will ever drink that tea again....

I too had a chuckle when you stated your house smells like a funeral home. Gorgeous bouquet!!!
Happy birthday! I hope your hand is healing nicely.

So glad they drew on the right hand. They drew on the wrong leg of a patient in the bed next to me -- and, the wrong patient! Seems they had the room number wrong and they wouldn't listen to me. We need color-coded beds and patient gowns; don't you think. Beautiful bling!
