Garden Crazy

This might be my favorite feature in all of my gardens.

A hot and cold outdoor sink.  I can't tell you how much I use this sink.  The counter top is made from the old sidewalk blue stone pavers from when my house was built in the 1870's. The sink itself is an old laboratory sink from a high school chemistry class.

It is turning out to be a really good idea I took out the big red maple.  I still get plenty of shade from my other trees.

You can see the dappled light all over the patio.

Teddy loves it when the grass is freshly cut and the ground is still cool for her to lay on.

Sorry I keep posting so many garden pics but I have gone a bit gardening crazy and haven't been cooking as much.

The Oakleaf Hydrangeas are glorious.

I added yet another tomato and I am not sure if I am done yet.  I can't wait to see how this container gardening works out.  I am making compost tea and will start watering them with it.

This ivy has trained itself across the garage.  I hand no hand in this at all.  Get it, hand... like in one!  My one handed humor is not very funny!

I added my pottery mushrooms to a lot of the pots.

They are in the flower beds too.

Joyce, I love love love your garden photos. I miss not having our beautiful grounds in Missouri. It's basically rock, cactus and palm trees here. You are making me inspired to do something, I don't know what yet, but something. I'm enjoying each and every picture. I would have loved to have that kind of sink in MO. You have made your yard so beautiful and inviting. I love all your potted plants. Thanks for sharing.

Garden crazy ??? I know what you mean, In can't stop pottering around either. I have two hands to use though, so I think your work is twice as hard, using only one hand.

I thought your one handed humor was very funny. LOL Your OUTDOOR sink is AWESOME, as is your entire yard. SERIOUSLY awesome. I'm with Teddy. Something about a freshly mowed lawn. My container gardening is doing badly this year. Last year it was a success. I hope yours goes well.
