Broken Computer 2

Hi all!  I am typing on my daughter's computer right now.  I cleaned my computer screen with a damp paper towel and I fried the screen.  It is being replaced (very expensive!) and I will have it in a day or two (I hope)!  Meanwhile I will just be rolling in the wonderful snow (8+ inches) that we got overnight. I'll keep you posted on when I will be back to my regular posting.  Fingers crossed that the computer gods will smile on me!

Ohhhhhhh, wet wipe on turned on computer screen. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh... -grin- Poor you!

But with your daughter's computer there, and with 8+ inches of snow out-of-doors, you kinda' have the best of both worlds.

Yeah, I know! Without our OWN computer, 'tis not any kind of 'best'.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, go build a snow woman. :-)

Oh my goodness, I didn't know that would happen. I hope they can fix it quickly and maybe not as expensive. Have fun in the snow. It is beautiful for sure. Roads a little but slippery. Stay warm.

To bad about the computer screen! I didn't know that even if it's just damp it would kill the screen!

I'm so glad that You finally got snow and lots of it too :-)

Have a great day rolling in the snow :-)
Christer.

Ooooh, so sorry. I knew to stay away from wet things but I didn't know why. It's the rule follower in me - Catholic school fear and all. Now I think I'm glad....

I hope you get your computer back soon.

Now, a fried computer screen, that is a problem. I use electronic wipes to clean my computer and camera lens. How fortunate you are to have a blog tech at hand, do you rent him out? LOL I bet Miss Teddy is enjoying this snowy weather. Have a lovely day, greetings from snowy Maine, Julie.

I first saw the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey a few years ago, but I remember thinking: "why not just throw a cup of coffee on HAL to stop him?". We all do stuff like this at some point. Live and learn.

Oh No! I hope that you are back with us very soon!

When I saw the weather that you were having, the first thing I thought of was you, doing a Happy Dance!

So while you are asking for help from the computer gods, go outside, and dance with the snowflakes in honor of the snow gods!

Have fun!!!

I'm so happy that you got snow with your daughter safely at home. Tell her thanks so much for the nice comment she made about the red cardinal. My daughter will be very pleased.

Wow, had no idea such a thing could happen. It's good to know. Thanks, Joyce!
I had to smile at how happy you made Christer. He is in 7th heaven with his new toys, not to mention the goodies. :):)
Great photo's, didn't you think?
He is just delighted.
